This is it...
a day we've waited for,
counted down to,
made countless preparations for,
envisioned in our minds,
and at last it is upon us.
This is it!
Today we hope,
we pray,
and we enjoy,
because it will all go to quickly.
Water proof mascara applied graciously,
dawned with massive amount of hairspray,
last touches and packed for some along the way,
I am ready to see my best friend,
with whom I've shared
I've laughed,
I've cried,
I've seen crushed
and been crushed,
I am ready to see her
be the beautiful bride.
We dreamed of this day together,
we planned and giggled
and aspired for it's perfection.
I never knew it'd come so fast.
I hope the world for her
this is it, the day her love
